Coming to light

by onethuscome   Apr 16, 2013

What knowledge is to be had
that would sufflice this longing
to know even as i am known
beneath the icey form
of gambol and bone
the measure of my own soul?

herein lies the mystery..
that thoughts heretofore
misleading have caused me
such mistrust in myself
that necessity vouchsafed
me with a word as from
the very heart of me...

that we needn't look any
further than the stirring of
our own impulse to bedazzle
the querries of aged philosophers
and worried theologians

that we should "judge not"
and,as by miracle or natures decree
(though i can scarce impart the difference)
we are free as according to the measure
we have used

that our soul falls out into nature
and sings the same song
as that of roaring thunder
and gentle breezes

that the casting off
of that deceptive
art called logic...
submitting our will
to the impulse that informs our wisdom
(the Self..the Christ within)
from whence comes all
that we may rightfully call life
speaks all one and the same
truth

Questioning all for which we have no answers. What is and what was and what's to come. Where does truth lie?
