Really interesting I just saw this poem now because when went over the etymology of euthanasia here, I think in the cases of many people we automatically think of it as something "bad", along with our religions that state it is considered an evil killing. Etymologically however it actually means a pleasant death. Someone is helping ease the pain. I do believe there is a certain time for death and that man can't intervene, yet you bring out such a side that I can't ever understand, because I've never been faced with that choice of having that power in my hands... |

I'm quite in awe of this piece, I thought you did an extremely awesome job of making the poem flow so effortlessly. The repetition is very effective and works perfect! Your title drew me in & made me wonder which direction you'd take me. The poem itself is so inspirational, it makes life seem so effortlessly. I'm pretty tempted to nominate this, it's simplistic but very nicely done. |
