Blue Sky, Blue Water

Peaceful, the blue sky is,
Through the blue water.
Calm the blue sky is,
When the waves don't wander.

Cloud by cloud,
I watch them flutter,
Across the blue sky
Through the blue water.

Amazing how the blue water,
Shows a perfect reflection of the blue sky
And when the blue sky changes,
The reflection does the same.

But when I look into my mirror,
My reflection and I seem to differ.
The one in the mirror seems happy,
Yet I, myself, I'm down.

I used to think reflections work the same,
What I am in my world and what it sees are the same.
But sadly, nothing will ever be as perfect as,
The blue sky and the blue water.
