The Tree I See

by HeatherJo   Apr 24, 2013

When I go for a walk
I pass by a tree,
A tree that I believe
Is staring at me.

It sways in the wind
And it's leaves make a sound,
Before falling off a branch
And floating to the ground.

It's a beautiful tree
That, I must say,
And I'm glad I get to see.it
Every single day.

    Hi,

I think the high point was the second stanza. As a whole, I think the wording was overally simple, and I think the end needed to be stronger.

I like the rhyme in here but this seems to be more of a tender poem that something slightly whimsical. Maybe that is just me. The rhyme kinda throws it off.

But I like rhyme. So yeah.

The second stanza is my favorite. Paints a picture in your head and it is quite nice.
