What I see ( through my eyes)

by The Poet Behind The Poems   Apr 25, 2013

Please wipe the darkness from your
eyes.
Don't believe the deceiving mirror;
that reflects
back to your falling tear drops.

Look at me my darling ...
this winter night never felt so warm.
Air is pure when our lips connect;
I can't help but open my eyes to
the gift God graciously sent

to me.

Put your delicate hand in mine
do you hear the angels asking
you to return home ?.
Melodies play straight to my
heart whenever we touch.

No one is perfect my darling
but through my eyes
your the closest God will
ever find.

    I know this poem well. To love and see someone in a light that they themselves cannot. Love always above all, love.
