This is really beautiful, but sad at the same time...there's such a tone in the words, of longing and heartache, and memories...very powerful.

I love the wording, it worked amazingly with the tone and scenery, and as always, those nature tones were beautiful! x

Wow! I have never in my life read a poem about reincarnation. You crafted this beautifully! My goodness, you're like an artist.

"I can still feel my raven locks
    dangling in a breeze of
    reincarnated dreams, teasing
    shoulders of dirt scuffed
    bareness."

That was absolutely just..fantasy sounding. It's dark, and almost has a sensual heat to it. Describing your hair as "raven locks dangling in the breeze" is such amazing wording. This is really good. Excuse me as I nominate this and add it to my favorites and then re-read it a hundred times.

    Beautifully penned, Andrea.

You know what I love even more about your latest poems? We can feel the sadness and we know it exists but the fact that you are staying away from the sadness and depression category makes me feel there is a smile even if the poem itself is speaking sadness.<3

This is really an amazing piece, just love it:)

So I know you said England, but I read a lot of Nora Roberts books and she writes about Ireland and magic a lot.. and this reminded me of one of my favorite books from her.

I LOVE the meadow green and lavender weed thistles. Thistles are so peculiar to me, they can go so many ways as far as imagery goes.. and AH. I love the thought here.

    Andrea this is just beautiful.

There is a nostalgic tone in here that I'm fond of, and that makes you feel attached to where the lines are heading. Your title reflects well the content; maybe I liked it more because it's specifically about the UK, a country that I like so much.

    Lovely piece.
