Temptress

by Rozalina Reyes   Apr 29, 2013

Alone and hollow
as the night winds blow.
wish I'd stayed
granting all your delights.
one moon i spent with you
was worth more then
all the years with him.
you are my night owl,
my sweet serenade.
this man in a mask,
devil made.
alone and hollow
as the river runs cold.
i like this though,
drifting by on my own
not waiting for a lover
no lover waiting for me.
ill miss the dark nights
of secret affairs
and twisting in the sheets
the sweat dripping
moans growing....
alas i am solitary.
and wish for true love
not one night stands.
but its never for me.
i am only the mistress
turning dark deeds
making you scream for more.
alone and hollow
still the same
walking in the night
looking to the moon for light.
looking for redemption
but only finding desolation.
alone and hollow
walking the stone path
deep into isolation.

This swimming in a never ending pool of sadness and emotion... I adore it! Fantastic in every way, an excellent flow to each line. Beautiful yet again :)
