First love lost

by Rozalina Reyes   Apr 30, 2013

Turn to dust and dust and smoke
blow away with dawn's first breath,
feel her sweet caress.
You are nothing to me
oh dark temptress.
You are of rotting things stuck in my mind
that I wish to rid
like a dead spider's web
and dust from an old path.
You stick to my skin as I walk through time,
as I walk further away from you and your crimes.
You left my heart to die,
you left my heart to bleed.
It was hard to see
you felt nothing for me.
You and your caramel skin,
lips warm and turned up
in false smiles when you use to...
I WISH YOU WOULD LOOK AT ME
...like you did
when we'd meet in dark halls and stairwells
and kissed so passionately.
Alas nightmares of you are all that visit in my time of need.
You are nothing to me
oh dark temptress.
It was hard to see
you felt nothing for me.....
