Hmm, I am still trying to make sense of the minutes and the hours.

if miles were minutes and green lights were hours.
perchance we could collide at an intersection and stop traffic with passion.

    okay so the minutes advance....

until it reaches hours... at green lights.

so both of you are at an intersection, and both have green lights so both advance because both know it's their turn to continue, so it ends in a crash where the traffic is stopped.

The use of passion was I think related to the green lights, so both are given permission to fall in love per se. So the traffic lights can be seen as cupid, however, this may sound more like both will get injured by that passion but if lucky they will heal.

    Pretty cool.

I like this poem a lot because it makes you think. First of all I love the title because. It fits well into the poem and the metaphors make this poem. Hmmm we could stop traffic with passion really makes you think :). What I think is. Love makes you feel like you can slow time and the traffic is time. If so wonderful. :). Love makes you feel like your partner is the one on earth. I loved it very much. 5
