A ranger got himself into some danger, tried to hide his gun from the public ... but then shot a young kid ...accident maybe? possibly the kid was in the line of fire? or maybe on purpose? he was the target? that's unknown here...

but now everyone treats him like he is an outcast, a stranger to the community.
