Closure

There will be no time
for packing luggage, weeping,
blowing out dreams, moving furniture,
attending funerals, mopping the
corners of the old rooms.

The air will be thick -
too thick that we'll
fear waking up
everyday.

I won't have the chance to
love you further.
I'll leave so many depths in you, undiscovered.
You'll have to weave the rest
of the dream without me.

And to the wounded, to the bereft hearts,
to the soldier cradling his homeland,
to his homeland,
to the rain and to each night under the rain,
I promise I'll be sending a breeze.

This was beautifully sad, the imagery was very soft and melancholic, the wording smooth and free, nothing was restricted here...it felt almost relaxing, like the tone was just whispering, with the air around it...

    Really lovely write here.

I think I remember reading this.

As always Noura, you have such an ability to move me, you're words are captivating
