Trying to understand,
But never fully understood,
The meaning of safe,
Before you kissed me.

Wrapping your arms around me,
Creating a zone of tranquility,
Making me believe in humans,
Letting me to sense warmth,
Your heartbeat is my rhythm.

One inspirational kiss,
Melted my brick wall facade,
Leaving the vulnerable child,
Gently covered at your chest,
Protected with tearful eyes.

A paradox to feel completeness,
And have rest in each fiber,
Yet tremble inside,
Of a silent joy knowing,
One person loves and cares.
