When dreams become reality

Last night, I had a dream that
you loved someone else
but then I woke up,
and realized it wasn't just a dream

I started thinking about all those times
when it was me you still loved,

still think of me, and those nights spent
in the warmth of sin

all I know is that I try not to speak
about the coldness I feel when someone else
kisses my lips, and how I'm scared they
can take away from my skin the taste
