Scars of my Numbness

by schmetterling   May 8, 2013

I'm still falling under,
Tumbling on in,
There goes another crash of thunder,
I'm the least but forgiven.
These wretched scars I place upon myself,
Hidden beneath fabric,
They're not cries for help,
Just to keep away sadness- some magic.
I know I can't explain to you,
What the inevitable numbness does to me,
All you can but still you don't know what to do,
Because it's just something your heart feels but eyes cannot see.
As I crash on the cold hard concrete,
I gasp for a breath,
So this is where I cross in between,
This is a beautiful yet dark thing- death.
