I Saw, A Goddess, As I Strolled Today... (A Sonnet)

I Saw, a Goddess, as I Strolled Today,
Dark Hair, Olive Skin, Smile, So Resplendent,
A Beauty, that Whittled My Cares Away,
Bestowing , Rapture, Ever So, Rampant.

I Saw, Such Rhapsody, as I Passed By,
Lost Myself, in its, Utter, Wonderment.
With Joy, Adoration, I did Outcry,
Her Pleasure, My One and Every Penchant.

I Saw, Enchantment, Sitting, Before Me,
As I was Just Walking, Upon, My Way.
I Experienced, Heaven, Ecstasy,
As My Soul, Fluttered, Frolicked, Dance, and Played.

Oh, Such Pleasure, She Bestowed, Upon Me,
Leaving Me, Uplifted, All, A Fancy...

This poem was inspired by Danielle this girl I saw sitting today, as I walked home, through the Commuter Train Station. I saw her Radiantly sitting there, as Beautiful as one can be, Glowing, with such Gorgeous Light. I stopped, for a moment to pay her proper Praise, Appreciation, telling her she was Beautiful, and before I walked away, I asked for her name to add to my Book of Acrostics, with a new "Name Poem", if I didn't have one written for that name already, She did give me her name, with pleasure, but I had already written a Danielle poem, so instead, I looked through my index cards of acrostics, and asked her for her opinion on the Danielle poem that I had written. She complimented it and said how it made her day - tell then, she had been having a bad one, She asked if she could take a picture of it with her phone. I was more than happy to let her and was glad I was able to brighten and otherwise bad day and leave her with a memento that made her smile, that's what I strive to do with my poetry bring smiles to faces, make people happy, and heart's swoon. I want to arouse joy - for we need more of it in this world, and I'm glad I was able to bring some joy to an otherwise bad day. As I left her and continued on my way, I complimented her on Her Lovely Smile and said the pleasure of meeting her might just be inspiration for me writing another great poem tonight, so Danielle, with this poem, I celebrate the day meeting you, May 7, 2013.

Omg ...imagine if she talked to you?your head would explode.I dig your passion.poetry is a continuous opening and revealing of ourselves.I feel that's what you communicate in your piece.the man/woman IS the poem and the degree to which we translate our un-abashed selves into verse ....there's poetry...or so is my aesthetic
