Mahogany Frame

by Daylight Lucidity   May 9, 2013

I travel by foot,
Lonesome yet not,
My journey one of the soul
For answers I've sought.

The wind follows
Persistent and kind
As my eyes are closed
And guided by chimes.

The songs of birds
Drifting throughout
The fields I wander
Where dreams sprout.

A whisper in the grass
Giggles and blushes
As bees hum
Within the lilac bushes.

I sip my tea
As I travel quietly
Tinting the air with cinnamon
And ribbons of cranberry.

I travel for days
And nights the same,
Happily searching
For life's mahogany frame.

    I love this.

The way you word it is... great. It really paints a beautiful and natural picture, which is the story itself. Searching for the frame of life, along nature as if in a picture.

Amazing imagery, at least to me. Nice.
