Farewell to the world that killed me

by Tessa Hazzard   May 13, 2013

Mascara spread from cheek to cheek,
my head pounding from the tears,
too long, so long,
I don't want to die,
yet I just said goodbye,
the world has already killed me.
what they've said,
now look, I'm dead.
and I'm off to a silent bliss.
Just so you know,
I've a note in my pocket,
reminding of everything done.
my eyeliner washed off,
and my body lays still,
too long, so long,
I don't want to die,
yet I just said goodbye,
Farewell to the world that killed me.
