Democracy, Hypocrisy

by Ping Madriago   May 14, 2013

We don't need democracy
And all of it's stinky promises
We don't need democracy
And those thieves and their accomplices

The law mandates equality
Yet, reality says it's all a frivolity
Tell me, is it democracy?
Or some sort of hypocrisy?

What is democracy?
When power is concentrated to the few?
Where is the people's sovereignty?
When these public servants won't even subdue?

Sorry, but we don't need YOUR democracy
And all of YOUR stinky promises; they're stupidity
Sorry, but we don't need YOUR democracy
You thieves, are the disease of this country!

I can totally relate to this. It was rather upsetting but predictable. Great poem. Perfectly apt title as well.
