This is amazing! That imagery is wild! Using warfare as a metaphor for an explosive relationship, that's perfect! I also love how you painted such a vividly detailed picture with such a small poem; that's not easy to do. |
It's true, parents don't stop and think of the affects that their constant bickering has over their children. They live in fear in their bedroom, afraid of being caught in the crossfire... or they grow up and think that's a normal lifestyle and fall into habit with it in their own family. |

Oh my gosh. This just breaks my heart. Too often the parents fight and scream and yell at each other in front of their babies and little ones - not realizing what they're doing to them. |
