Lost in thought -help prevent suicide

by Kelwin lost in thought   May 15, 2013

There sat a boy
all alone in his dark room
a knife laying opened next to him
he was lost in thought
unable to decide what to do
wondering who he is
if life is worth living
he sat for hours on end
thinking
holding the knife in his hand
wondering if the world would be better off without him
no one cares about him
people telling him to go kill himself every day
getting bullied
made fun of cause of all the scars on his arms
he knows no girl wants to be with him
he know how easy suicide is
cause five of his friends already killed themselves
he know true pain
so he sits and thinks
long and hard
then he makes up his mind
he gets up
grabs a pen and paper
he starts writing his final words
he pours his heart down on that peice of paper
then he sits down
holds the knife to his wrist
presses down hard and pulls it all the way down his arm
opening up his whole arm
then he lays down
closing his eyes
he starts to cry
he realizes what he did
but it's to late

to think it takes only one person to prevent this. Just by reaching out and being a true friend. Just by showing you care you can save someones life. Every life is presious. So what will you do when you know someones life is on the line. Will you be that person to help him or her. Or will you be one of the reasons they do it. The choice is yours. Help prevent suicide. One life at a time. It only takes one person to make a difference. So do your part. Take a stand and help save the ones who need to be saving

This carries such a deep message and it is tragic. So many people these days have this constant battle with themselves. Bullying doesn't really cause a problem between that person and the person that is bullying them but it leads to internal turmoil that can be quite deadly.

The message at the end is fantastic.

    This is my purpose here.

This is so sad and it reminds me that there are more and more kids out there wanting to die. Wonderful way to speak up about something so important.
