Purpose

by Lauren   May 15, 2013

With crispy grass beneath my toes
As they press, the Earth gives into me
Offering its' life and blessings
Nothing but land for the eyes to see

Yellow light pierces deep from afar
It is why I am here
My purpose, my existence
All built up in a warm radiation

I am its slave
It is my home
As I near closer, the light that once was far
Now seems near

Step, step, step
Up the shambly white stairs I go
Eagerness takes over
Slowly taking the last step, I leap knowingly and without fear into a deep heavenly abyss

The soul lives for eternity
Appreciation embarks on a forever journey
Forces of gold coat every cell in purity
I am spread out across universes in holy gratitude

I am spinning infinitely in unwavering confidence
What a brreathtaking sight
The mind has been freed of its chains
I know I am always free
