Scattered Showers

by Maple Tree   May 17, 2013

Writings scatter

such as a spring shower

crossed the face of a

morning dew riser.

Rainfall causes punctuation

to die an early passing

before they ever hit

parchment, leaving

the author to grieve

before the first stanza

is born....

What always captures me when I read your poems, is your tendency and ability to pen my thoughts, dive into my brain and pull out the same things except you manage to get them spot on and write ten times better than me.

How often I try and write something positive and it comes out negative, how I have a thought yet when I start writing, it loses its ability to come to the surface...instead just spinning about in my brain.

I just loved this piece, and the simplicity in the complexity of it...so well penned, and as always the nature is just breath taking

    I love you woman!!

So, what I interpret from this little piece is that maybe you begin thinking of words in your head, lines here and there to begin a poem... but then tears come and wash it away before it's even began to form into a whole stanza/poem.

I love the touch of nature you always incorporate, it's your signature.

Sometimes it takes time to be able to find the right words, they'll come when they're ready and when you truly are. <3
