Fiery Jewel

by Daylight Lucidity   May 18, 2013

Every time you touch me, my heartbeat quickens against my will
My knees grow weak with each sweet and gentle kiss
My heart silently breaks at sight of a fiery jewel
Making my words tremble against your lips.
Your kindness makes me melt
Your endless understanding calms me
As if your very words cascade like a waterfall's beckon never felt
Entrancing me by indescribable beauty.
You may not think yourself worthy of being called royal,
But my dear, unnamed queen, I can promise you
That I would always be loyal
For a peasant follows her queen respectfully, 'tis true.
Neither bow nor courtesy can present you with the proper greeting you deserve
As I place a kiss upon this fiery jewel's skin,
Let it enlighten your eyes upon beauty in need of being preserved,
Whilst showering your fellow followers with smiles so radiant.
Mind you, I am not entirely sure how you feel
Though I cannot really say so myself
But you leave me breathless, and I am mildly reluctant to reveal
That you are the center of an unknown desire,
Controlled by a fiery jewel.

Richly descriptive, although how about this for a better flow, rhyme....

'My knees grows weak with each kiss, gentle, sweet'

This is beautifully worded. Very intense amount of emotion portrayed beautifully, paralleling the beauty you see in your unnamed queen.
She is lucky to have such a beautiful poem dedicated to her. :)
