White Noise

by CarnivorousCoffin   May 21, 2013

The window is dirty and ugly, just like my face in the mirror.
The earth is silent, too silent.
As if a star would crash at any moment.
The kind of silence
That is deafening and deadly.

Too much thinking creates more problems
Than you originally had to begin with
Like fingers wrap themselves endlessly around your throat
Choking you,
But not enough for Death to greet your long awaited wish.

It's like you're in a room filled with people,
But you feel so alone.
Or how you cry your eyes out in your room at night
Your pillows catch your tears and cool your face
You're sobs are too loud so you pull up your sheets
But it's too hot underneath, so you choke on the heat

You draw a bath of cool water to numb the sadness
But it only makes you shake and shiver; it's numbing your bones.
You slide underneath the water's surface, and then drown out the world
The hateful words and loneliness soon fade to soft whispers in your mind
The only thing heard is a sweet and soft melody of a song unheard
Your hair floats to the surface, like a darker shade of sad seaweed
Your face stays below, alone in the waters shadows
It's no longer a tub; it's a deep dark abyss
Filled with monsters who judge your every move
That takes a bite of your pain and helplessness

Then there is just white noise.
Just darkness.
Then there is nothing.
Nothing.

Thank you. That means a lot. I'm sorry that it's sad. It was just all I could get on paper at the moment...
