Paper Flowers

by Daylight Lucidity   May 21, 2013

I have always seen
My dreams
As a mere fantasy.
Drenched in hope
But doused in gasoline
Feebly eloping
With amaranthine.
Raspberry lips
Against paper flowers
Privileging a kiss
Upon beauty of dour.
The sun bleeds
As the moon
Weeps
Begging to undo
The folds
In paper flowers
In fields of golden wheat
Harvesting by the hour
My heart's passionate heat.
Dragons and knights
Play their games
Cries of fright
Ring with amusement
In my dreams
Of mere
Fantasy.
Love arises from
Ashes of the past
Begging for someone
To cradle it aghast
In the field
Of paper flowers
Unconcealed.

I love how a lot of your sentences were only one worders, it made it burst out more and the reader focus on the word more and it's meaning and it really spoke out to me each line, I love the whole poem!!!!
