That was an awesome description of lost love .
It's like you can't escape these precious memories
That meant so much to you . But in reality they
Are the past as the present and future he doesn't
    Want to share ...

"Tell me, does this gravel bring out my best
features when I fall face first for you?"

This is the best lines I have read on this site through all my time here. For real. It is heartbreakingly sad, funny, clever and witty at the same time. I simply did not know how to react when I read those lines and I always know! Speechless! You struck me mute!

Anyways, I got over that just in time to comment on this and wow, I must say, it is a wonderful piece of work. It has a nice balance, in that you don´t go completely over the top with the unrequited love references in the sense that you throw in a bit of reality like something a long the lines of "Ok, this sucks, but hey, it is what it is." Or at least, that was what I got out of the poem.

In addition, as I´ve mentioned, you´ve chosen your words in a way that juggles the reader in to not knowing just what the hell to do after he or she is finished reading. I mean, wow! I don´t know wether to cry with you, pat you on the back and tell you it´s going to be ok, or maybe take you out on a date. I just don´t know. Just please, have my attention, here, take it!
