I Can No Longer Breathe

by Daylight Lucidity   May 21, 2013

I can't breathe.
This feeling
Consumes me,
I am just so
Tired of pretending
Like caring
Doesn't kill me
Though it's worth
All the pain.
This necklace chokes me
Its hearts reminders
Of the love she
Branded me with
Before this.
But what is,
This?
What do you want
It to be?
I know I'm not a lot
But I am all I can be.
I'm sorry if I
Upset you, unnamed queen,
But I try
To make you happy.
I will always listen
Always be here
I just cannot christen
The deafening fear.
I can no longer breathe
But I enjoy
This effect you have on me
That will not destroy.
