Three pairs of eyes,
refuse to meet hers.
Blue, green, red it doesn't matter what color.
But she's use to the glares and lack of stares.
They don't hurt, not like before.
When every little thing wounded her to her core.
But no, not anymore.
Ignorance is a heavy burden laid upon her heart.
It's evil and sickening, slowly tearing her apart.
And all that will be left is a broken heart.
But she'll stay strong, she won't cry.
Even if her whole life is a lie.
She'll just lift up her chin, paste on a smile.
Fake that happy laugh, run that mile.
So to all who are blinded from the pain their actions bring, open you eyes before we loose another life.
