Tomorrow

by Ole Carsten   May 22, 2013

How many steps to walk?
Before time turns 24 hours,
Time runs not in straight lines,
It slows down the day before.

Like a train stops just before,
And move slowly and careful,
These first many miles on and on,
Then there is almost no movement.

I am waiting for time to go on,
Then I can wait for the S train,
Queuing for the Metro,
Please give me my boarding card.

Maybe it is just me who has to wait?
Suddenly I am smiling, because,
I realize that my butterflies has to wait,
We are indeed a waiting society.

Will I ever learn to be patient?
I thought I was like a monk,
But I don't have healing powers,
I have just my strong love.

I am not good at queues,
I am better when time move,
Let me know about patient,
I am willing to learn.

Love is patient with me.
