Alone

by Biancas Veil   May 22, 2013

Here I am again
Reminiscing old memories
Listening to echoes of a time long past
centuries slipped by how long can the torment last

Childhood in that little house
No love resides there
Sad little girl no hope or wonder left sits and plays with paper dolls
Dressed in seconds and fead stale rolls

When of age
At sixteen she prays
That she escape her lonely fate
To run and disappear through the front gate

Here I am home again
I can not run from this place
For Forever feels home
When you are standing all alone

*i have not yet finished this one I just needed somewhere to put it that I wouldn't loose what I had already done*

This is a great poem. I feel as though I am the person with the bad memories. I know what its like. I guess this poem spoke to me because of it. The wording is wonderful so full of emotion. 5/5

Its an excellent piece, 'Centuries slipped by how long can the torment last?' One of my favorite parts of it.
Fairly well rounded, hopefully the rest of it comes out alright :) 5/5
