The circle of life

by Kaylee   May 23, 2013

Its the dawning of life
The birds are chirping
Flowers are blooming
Babies are being born

Life has begun
Warmness is in the air
The air is crisp
The leaves are green

Life is comming to an end
The plants are starting to dry out
Its becoming a faded place
Life is becoming sparse

Life is dead
Its a dark place
There is nothing around
Its gone

This is a very good poem. I love how you started out here. By the circle being alive. The imagery is so well done. I can hear the birds chirping in the morning or the flowers blooming in the spring. The circle of life is beautiful if you think about it. Its the simple things that should make us happy. The second stanza is great too. I can feel the tranquility in your words. The leaves being green means I can see it being spring or summer and the warmth in the crisp air. The vividity of your imagery is great.

In the third stanza first line comming should be coming.

But I love both sides to this. It truly is a circle when sll things live snd die. You describe the bad part so well where the plants fade and life is crumbling down to nothing at all. The way you ended this is good. In the simple form death is dark and there is just nothing it truly is just gone. You wrote this so very well. 5
