Blown Ashes

by DarkLight   May 25, 2013

Far away I stood to watch,
watch what was once a paradise disappear to ash,
The people lover.
Place where comfort was found,
where love and mercy held to its roots,
where imagination of righteousness stood,
now befallen and broken
leaving nothing but the sight of the burning flame.
to many it's a joyful joyful sounding songs,
but deep inside it's a resounding love.
What was once my leaning shoulder was wiped away
only memories left to take me to the grave,
It hurts,
yes, in the heart it hurts.
To stand and watch the ash of what was once your love,
person whom you shared the inner-most truth with gone,
like wind passing
blowing on your face I feel her love.
No one to blame
Will forever miss you,
another way of setting you free,
is to watch your ashes blown away.

There is something about this poem that pulls at my heartstrings. It has a raw passion to it that has drawn me into it but...you have a few grammatical errors which can easily be fixed and...and I'd also consider changing the layout slightly if I were you. Has great potential at the moment.
