Arcadia

by Jenni Marie & Athanael   May 28, 2013

Within moonlight, shadows meld together
fervidly planting butterfly kisses
lulled by honeyed fragrances of petals
spirits embracing in Arcadia
as quintessences become as one
unintermittedly roaming through
cotten candy fields together, inhaling
nature's pulsating tendencies
bodies entwining as lightning flares
consolidating carnal devotion
merging together in unity

Um....a little constructive criticism.I'm on imagery overload in this piece. There's no room(or time)to breathe.I can savor nothing of its sweetness because the syrup(I love syrup on my French toast)keeps getting poured on.

    Thoroughly romantic and lovely!

It didnt seem like 2 people writing this piece as the flow is flawless! Also as Hannah mentioned, there are truly original phrases with beautiful imagery here. The poem seem seamless to me and loved your collaborative effort!

    Keep penning:)

Together, you both write really well,
I wasn't overly keen on the lack of punctuation, had to read through a few times to get it to flow but when I did, I saw that together you mesh really well...you fit together with the tone and wording...

This piece is beautiful, and romantic, the sensuality is just right, without being too over the top...

    really nice piece :)

This poem is just pure romance. The paradise is the two lovers joining as one, completely wrapped up in each other...a really sensual and passionate piece without being explicit, very lovely.

The imagery you two created is beyond amazing, great word usage though out. I loved shadows melding and the butterfly kisses.

A wonderful collab, you both meshed really well together to create a very well blended love scene. :)
