There's always something different in your poems, yet they always have a common thread - Brilliance.

This one, well, I can relate to the thoughts running in your mind, like a swarm of bees, and you can't be yourself with all the demons in your mind, all the thoughts that come at those late hours, and how you crave sleep so you are not consciously hearing those voices, so the thoughts don't consume you.

I loved this...the anguish, and the neediness to clear your head with sleep, so powerful.

I love the title, meaning thoughts are swarming your mind, constantly buzzing when all you want is a peaceful slumber. You crave sleep because it's the only time your demons aren't taunting you.

I think this can be related to by many, we all have our own personal demons that follow us around and sometimes sleep is an escape... it's the only time we can fully relax. You captured that wonderfully here!

Creative title Maryanne! I like to do that to my poems a lot sometimes! It gave us an idea of what these thoughts are like for you, buzzing around in your head.

Not sure if you intended this poem to be structured since there were some punctuation in the second stanza, but if so, I'd put commas in between "My muscles can't flex and my scalp itches and I need to
scream for those voices flash and those heads turn
around to flirt and those throats laugh"

It sucks with a lot on our mind, head spinning and all we desire is to be free from these thoughts. It does feel like a burning hell sometimes where we are lost in our own pit as you stated,but its moments like those where I try and put myself somewhere else. Sometimes I google a picture of a beach or a mountain and write about that. To stray my thoughts elsewhere.
