Siren

by Daylight Lucidity   Jun 2, 2013

Who's to blame, who to shame?
You, siren, you caused the pain
mistress of the seven seas
you continue to entrap to me
senseless escapes in vain
keep me here, I'll simply go insane.
Erase me from existence, Siren,
leave me to perish like the carrion.
Sing to me, draw me near
against my will, no deathly fear
crash the ship, don't kill me
make me suffer, you make me beg for mercy.
God bless this suffering.
Trap me, keep me with you forever
do with me what you will, whatever
make me go insane, make me psychotic
abuse me, you're neurotic.
Make me one of you,
cast me in your shadow
forever encaged in your mind,
I, too, for eternity sing the twisted melody
of the Siren.

This is brilliant. So dark and imaginative.
