Why Did You Leave?

by WritingtheStars   Jun 3, 2013

I can't believe
you left me,
forgot about me
after you promised you wouldn't.
I thought you understood me
and how I don't like
letting people in,
because they always leave
sooner or later.
You told me no matter what,
You'd be there for me.
Where are you now, huh?
You left me alone,
regretting I ever talked to you.
This is why I don't trust people,
no matter what
they leave.
And that's exactly what you did.
Abandoned me for other people.
I'm sorry I couldn't
keep your attention
for that long.
Did I do something wrong?
Is that why you left?
This time,
I swear
I won't let anyone in
ever again.
I'm building up my walls
because of you,
once again
high and guarded
so nobody can hurt me
ever again.

Sweetie, they alwaus find away to get those walls down, especially if you are hyper. And not everyone leaves you. Theres no way you did anything wrong.

On to the piece. Beautiful flow. Decent word choice. And love the voice because i can imagine you on the phone with me ranting on and on about this new person and how they also ran away. Haha this piece is so us. Well written, though i cannot say i am a fan of your style in thia one... it feels like its missing something.
