I thank you for the sacrifices
You have had to take.
I thank you for fighting for honor, family, love, and our country's sake.
I thank you for being brave,
And always standing tall.
I thank you for being you,
And giving us your all.
I thank you for the freedoms
That we all have today.
I thank you for picking up your arms And never thinking to walk away.
I thank you for the service,
And tough choices you have made.
This country can never thank you enough
For the sacrifices that you paid.
Thank you to all the fallen,
And brave souls we have lost.
I wanted to say thank you to all,
For it is you who pay the final cost.
