Full Moon (Blackout Poetry)

by Rusheena   Jun 8, 2013

He sank into the worn and torn driver's seat,
looking to steal anything not locked up or bolted down.
The key was in the ignition.
He turned the key to start.
His mind was racing, still planning.
Moving the dead man would be messy, but it was the only option.
The Hunter grabbed the dead man's wrist and started pulling.

First of all, thank you so much for entering the challenge! You truly rocked it! :)

At first I was interpreting this as a robbery gone bad... that the man just planned to rob him and leave, but instead killed him instead...but after reading it a few times and seeing "The Hunter" and the title "Full Moon" ... maybe this is some sort of a 'Werewolf' story. He turned at the full moon, killed this man, and then when he was normal again has to try and figure out what to do with the body, the car, etc.

I love how it's like in the middle of the scene ... it leaves it open for the reader to interpret what happened.

    Love this!! :)
