Shopping

by Painted Faces   Jun 8, 2013

I'm a woman so of course I love to go shopping.
My man, well he'd rather clean up dog droppings.
How do these shoes look, do you like this dress? there fine, you look great, is what he always says. I can't count on his opinion, it's not worth very much. he thinks everything looks good and looking good is a must. so I have to decide, my opinion, I trust. And goodness how he gets on my nerves when he starts to fuss.

we've been here forever, when can we leave.
we've been through this store twice already geez. pick something, pick one thing, pick something quick, if I stay here any longer I think I'll be sick.

This is when I hit the fitting room, he likes this part best.
He gets to sit down and let his feet rest as I stare and compare and finish my quest. And when I have chosen the items I like, I snap for his credit cards, swipe swipe swipe. I swear I hate taking him shopping because he wines and he nags, but if I didn't who would pay and carry my bags?

    You're a bit cruel! :P

But good poem. :) - Maybe if i was being a little nick picky, I'd say you could space the poem out a little better, so it's easier to read. But otherwise, great!
