I lay here
Soaking my pillow with tears.
I wish you could see
How much I truly miss you.
The warmth I long for every night,
The touch I crave.
I wish you knew.
I cry myself to sleep,
Dreaming of your perfect smile.
I'm starting to forget the sound of your voice,
Its calming nature that soothed me.
I miss the old times,
When you and I would stay up all night talking.
I miss you and the memories we had.
Nothing will ever be the same for us,
I wish time would stop,
But I wish it would skip three years.
