Delicate

by Daylight Lucidity   Jun 13, 2013

Your fingers intertwined with mine
Your lips on my own softly
Feeling your heart race as I rest my hands on your chest
Drives me the sweetest kind of crazy.
I yearn to make you happy
Anyway you let me try to
My hands on your face, rubbing gently
In your eyes, I find something to hold on to.
I promised you that I would never leave
The very thought of it squeezes my heart
And I hope that I can give you relief
As I try to protect you, precious, from harm.
Every time I have the pleasure of talking to you
My heart skips beats every so often
And no matter what I do,
You always seem to be on my mind.
I place a soft kiss on your forehead
Even if it is only friendship
I know that this time, opening up my heart is worth it
And it's amazing loving someone so delicate.

The poem slightly comes across as cheesy however, there are some amazing phrases thrown in!

Keep up the good work (:
