Artemis Anisa pt. 2

by Blood of a Lion   Jun 13, 2013

Hear again dear traveler,
Hear again the tale of Artemis.
One so old as he,
His tale known beyond the western sea,
But o' and behold no ending is there yet.

Even men of eastern and of northern season,
Have a reason to know the tale of Artemis.
His visage and his travels led him hitherto,
And hither now.
He counted himself among those Damned,
Yet, his travels have not ended so.

II.

Asinanisa fell,
Though it be no grand spectacle,
Their very gates were left open,
And their bellies sliced open.
In sooth their very bellies be filled by man's flesh.
For in the parts of Asinanisa they themselves be cannibals.

Artemis marked the city for destruction,
So behold its death and its glory,
Where even the pregnant woman is not to be saved,
For in their practices they birthed children,
Not to raise but to eat as a meal,
They could not handle a mere moments of hunger.
(From morn' to noon)

So in a tale Artemis,
Artemis could not find even one soul who's desire was noble,
For all were ignoble,
And for this they were killed without pity.

I tell you in sooth,
There are worse times ahead of even this.
