Contemplation

by Karla   Jun 20, 2013

He threw rocks in the pond,
contemplating the waves
the things he carried in his heart
and as the pond silenced,
he could feel the disturbance propagating
deep inside.

That's true. The aftershock's oftentimes more powerful. And sometimes things need to sink in first before they could be felt, could be accepted.

    This piece leaves me contemplating.

I agree, I felt peace and ease when reading this and pondering the man who is throwing rocks yet looking deeper into his own life, what his burdens are, what weighs him down...

You have spoken a lot in few lines and created a simple moment that expresses some self-reflection. Good job.

You said so many things with just a few words. I really like the image here. Awesome as usual.
