Words could never thank you
for all you do for me,
or even begin to express
the love I feel for you.
You give me strength
to fight the world
and the courage to
believe that I can.
You sew my wounds
with beautiful thread,
which represents that
love can conquer all.
When the sun stops shining
and the rain begins to pour,
you offer me your umbrella;
the shelter of your love.
You pull me from the darkness
and you guide me to the light,
then you stay behind me
to catch me if I fall.
Each day you implant me
with another drop of hope,
another drop of kindness
and another drop of love.
I can feel my heart now filling
with the love you have for me,
my fears are slowly fading
