Little Swing

by Daylight Lucidity   Jun 22, 2013

Delicate rope swaying
From the tall oak
Guiding a small little swing
Fit for two.

Promising tales of lovers
Kissing for the first time
In the fading sunlight that,
Reflects the radiance of lasting romance.

A resting place for dreamers
Waiting for the perfect opportunity
That plays hide and seek with the moon
Giggling under darling starlight.

A spell cast by each little push
Of rainbows in the wind
That are mirrored in the smile
Of people on that precious, dear,

Little swing.
