Lustful nights

by chloe   Jun 22, 2013

We were young ,
and un-practiced,
and all that we stole was a few hours,
and all that we did was touch,
But it was tainted by the alcohol,
It it was hurried by society,
and the dim lights made it feel like a dream,
and the next morning all it was , was a memory,
and the next week all it was , was a mistake,
and now all it is , is a story,
but that night all it was, was lust,
For I seem to remember your name,
just nothing about you.

This is sad again but love poems can be anything. I love the way you you worded this. The end was just the end and nothing more. I love the use of alcohol in a bad way yes but it just proves how bad it is. One night is all it takes to change your life. Great write. 5/5
