The edge

by SimIsSeiko   Jun 23, 2013

Leaping off the edge,
And falling far below.
Forgetting every memory,
Learning to let go.

Imagining a world,
Where everything is fine
Where every time you said
Its okay, everyone knows you lied

Where princes don't exist
Saving yourself, and that's it
Growing stronger instead of crying
Walking longer and climbing higher
Imagining a world without you.
And actually being fine with it.

Giving up on love. Because it doesn't exist.

I love this poem and your poems in general because you always start out sad then admit a lil light then bamthe last line is a killer. Your endings are written so well. I love how you decribed the feeling. Love does exist but its hard to feel it at times.
