Guardians

by Mortal Utopia   Jun 23, 2013

It seemed all was lost: happiness along with all.
Phantoms lurked silently as I screamed.
Haunted darkness echoed voicelessly -
Guardian-shadows, born of a lost light - till

I bowed in agony, and you raised me up.

It seems all is well: happiness along with all.
My friend, I pray that I can fly, with you - as
Guardian-angels, born of eternal hope - to
Give the lost a Smile.

Cedricluk, this is so beautifully written and serene that it pulls at heart strings because once (like many others) you were in a dark place until this particular person came into your life and pulled you out of it. Friends like that are so rare to find these days.

A lovely dedication to someone who really deserved it. We all need such a guardian to restore happiness and all.
