Cycle of Cutting, The

by chloe   Jun 24, 2013

The road is narrow and darker still,
But yet something still holds your will,
To turn back and shout and run away,
So the fortune is made,
And so you stay,
You walk on through the thickening hedge,
Up to a stone carved jumping ledge,
Your choice is now,
So will you jump?
The ledge seems deep,
Do you have the guts?
So you take your knife and cut,
And all the pain just pumps your veins,
And you're back in the light once again,
But there it is the narrow road,
Beckoning again,
So will you go?
