Innocent Or Guilty?

by Baby Rainbow   Jun 25, 2013

There is a question that plagues my mind
and torments my thoughts as I sleep:
if I am not guilty for the things they did,
then why has my innocence been stolen?

If my innocence now belongs to them,
does their guilt now belong to me?

In stealing my innocence, did they
swap it for eternal guilt, making me
as bad as them?

I hear the word innocent, and I know
that cannot be me, for mine was stolen
many years ago.

So I am left with this question
that plagues my mind every night
and eats away at the only hope left,
hiding inside of my heart.

If it's not me who is guilty,
then why do they have my innocence?

You are the innocent whose innocence was stolen and have nothing to feel guilty about, they are the guilty ones for stealing your innocence so therefore you are and will be the innocent victim left to ponder why!! its just not fair... this is a write that will make many a reader think and question...

This is really something amazing, i never thought to question that, if it is stolen, does that make you guilty, but then again, if it is stolen, doesnt that make you a victem?
